An event for experienced business owners who know their best ideas don’t come from sitting at their desk alone.
You know what it’s like to sit in a Facebook group full of people chasing seven figures and wonder if you’re the only one who just wants this to work without eating your whole life. (You’re not, you’ve just been in the wrong room.)

We created this because we kept leaving events inspired by the people we met, not the agenda.
People leave the event with a referral partner they’re already emailing, a collaborator they’ve been brainstorming with off and on for a year and finally got to sit across from, or clarity on the one thing they’ve been circling for months.
And for some, it’s just the relief of hearing someone else say “yeah, that’s hard for me too” out loud.
There’s no stage here. But it’s not a free-for-all mixer either. We get 35 people, a handful of tables, and a full day designed to actually let you talk to each other. Every table is designed with intention, so nobody’s stuck staring at a stranger wondering what to say.

This event is open to anyone but most people in the room are service-based business owners who’ve been doing this for 5+ years and make $150k-$300k.

Want more than one day?
Friday Mastermind (1-5 p.m.)
We’ll meet at a nearby co-working space for the afternoon! You’ll be grouped intentionally by expertise and challenges, so you’re workshopping with people who can actually help.
We’ll have plenty of time to work through a problem or idea together, whether it’s figuring out your launch plan, a new offer, or needing new visibility ideas.
Mini Retreat (Sun–Tues)
After the Ordinary event, we’ll have a small retreat with 5 Network members. (The Ordinary event and mastermind are open to anyone, but this retreat is only open to Network members.)
Includes private bedrooms in an AirBnb, food, more masterminding, and even time to record b-roll! We’ll have plenty of downtime to just hang out, too.
The one thing AI can’t replicate is a real relationship. That’s what we’re here for.

Meet your host, Jess
I’m Jess, and I’ve been running a small, intentional business since 2011.
And along the way, I learned something that nobody was really talking about: you don’t have to go bigger to go better. That’s the whole reason The Ordinary Business exists.
I’m bringing together 35 people, in person, to have the kind of honest conversations about business that you’re usually only lucky enough to have with a very good friend.
I’m not here to hype you up and send you home with a notebook full of ideas you’ll never use.
I’m here because I believe that small, sustainable businesses deserve a seat at the table, and the right room can change everything.
